Part II: The Cross
Part II: The Cross introduces the second collection of the Tenets Trilogy; a triptych of foundational tracks rearranged, remastered, remixed and bigger than ever before.
The tenet of the cross celebrates the connection to what is and what will be, kicking the door open with the high energy & aptly named 'Launch', before rolling into the fierce & unrelenting 'Hardcore Girls'; both tracks were originally openers to 50FTW's debut DJ set, and debut live performance, respectively.
Shake 'Em rounds out the remastered collection with an absolute grab bag of gabber kicking, fanny-shaking mayhem, paving way for this instalments' featured guest Caylee Calabash to envelop you in a wall of lush, brutal, hypnotic & overwhelming chaos.
Live hardware performance using Elekton Digitakt at Chameleon, Nottingham 2023

Artist Bio
Cacophant began her musical journey as a bassist for the Sheffield-based Sludge band, Stonelung, who made a name for themselves with uncompromisingly heavy, punishingly slow live performances, blending the blues-laden grooves of stoner rock with the deliberately inaccessible brutality of harsh noise walls, and fuelled by the raw negative energy of doom metal, it was through Stonelung that she learned the joy and catharsis that exists within the extremes of what it was possible to create.
From there she went solo, growing into Fifty Foot Woman(50FTW) and attempting to capture that joy and catharsis in the loudest, heaviest ways she could muster. She cut her teeth playing alongside other talented musicians at EMOM nights, parties and microfestivals across Yorkshire & The East Midlands, and over the next two years she drew in her influences from across the musical spectrum to create her own unique brand of genre-defying dance music; heavy-handed and light-hearted, aggressive and joyful, poignanent and irreverent, stern and silly.
Cacophant represents the concentration and refinement of this sound, leading the way into the cacophony to find joy in the noise.
